We adopted a Toy Rat Terrier on 11/19/04 at PetsMart in Southlake, TX. He is one year old and weighs 4 lbs, 13" long and 10" in height.

I would like to name him Dewdrop because of his light weight and petite size. However, my son and daughter prefer the name Dewey (A male given name; common: 1 in 4347 males; popularity rank in the U.S.: #434).

So now, Dewey is the 5th member in our family. We all love him.

Before Dewey, we had a miniature pincher named Coco. She was with us for more than 5 years and died from heat stroke on 7/29/03 (Tuesday). We buried her in our backyard and we all remembered her deep in our hearts.

Dewey was accidentally fallen in the spa by the side of swimming pool. When I found him, he was died already. This was happened on 01/13/2006 (Friday). We lost a dear friend who indeed brought lots of joyfulness into our family. Thank you, Dewey. We will all remember you.
